ADVICE TO BARUCH COLLEGE

Using new media to improve the college can be more efficient and effective. First, students can submit their homework or do their quizzes through online network. Therefore, students can do it anytime they want and professors won't lose students' work since students submit from the Internet and/or e-mail. For paper or printed work, professors are difficult to keep and they are so messy, which is included students hand writing. Second, students can catch up from the Internet if they miss their lecture. Moreover, new technology can be a tool for putting the textbooks via Internet, so students can read them from the Internet instead of bring several thick textbooks to school or somewhere else to study.

  1. I think some of the professors are already using new media to collect homework project at Baruch. For example, in my PHI class we submit our paper through online (www.turnitin.com.), and professor grade them back online.
Another things that you said If Baruch put textbook online that will great too, then we don't have to carry all the heavy books. i completely agree with you. Especially, people who has back pain it is very hard for them to carry heavy books.
